Happy Halloween Edition Don’t Eat Pete

Want to play a different version of this classic game?? Then download and play this version of Happy Halloween Edition Don’t Eat Pete!!

Drumroll please…. Introducing the last piece to the series… Happy Halloween Edition Don’t Eat Pete!!

When we set out on this journey to share all our editions of Don’t Eat Pete I thought it was a fabulous idea…

but sharing them all at the same time…

it kins of made me have a love hate relationship with Don’t Eat Pete!!

So needless, to say I am excited that this is the last Don’t Eat Pete in our collection!!

And I won’t have to look at them until holidays roll around again!!

Don’t get me wrong they are so SO so super fun to play but not so fun to write about repeatedly.

I feel like I need to insert that crazy silly face emoji right now!!

Anyways, enough of my complaining and now on to why you really should play our Happy Halloween Edition Don’t Eat Pete.

One thing that I aboslutely love about Don’t Eat Pete is the simplicity of the game!!

The rules are so simple to understand.

And the game can be played with a variety of ages.

Growing up I remember playing this at birthday parties as a teenager. The rules had been changed and you had to do it blindfolded and spun around and pop the candy in your mouth as fast as you could…

But the silliness and fun of the game remains no matter the age.

Despite the fact that Halloween is surrounded with candy this game is still so super fun to play.

We used candy eyeballs meant to be put on top of cupcakes or cookies as our candy for this one.

It gave the game that simple element of creepy without being too scary!!

Because we don’t do scary over here!!

And again here are the Happy Halloween Edition Don’t Eat Pete rules!!

  1. Have the players help place one candy in each square
  2. Send one player out of the room
  3. Pick one of the squares to be Halloween
  4. Call child back in the room
  5. Don’t tell them the square where Halloween is
  6. The child picks the candy off the squares one at a time.
  7. Your child will continue until they reach the Halloween square.
  8. Once they pick up that candy all the other players yell Happy Halloween!!

So we are going to play a bit of a Halloween trick on you readers!!

Usually we have a ton of fun ideas to share but are curious if you have fun cute Halloween games or activities you play!!

We are on the search for providing a fun cute side to Halloween for all those families that don’t do scary or creepy!!

So, if that includes you can you let us know in the comments below a Halloween games or activity that you play that you want to share??

Thanks for your help and we wish you a very Happy Halloween!!
